Hello! My name is Jessie Rasmussen.  I was born and raised right here in Brandon, SD.  After graduating from BVHS, I headed to South Dakota State University in Brookings and graduated with a major in Early Childhood Education, Birth-Age 8, with Special Education and Kindergarten endorsements in 2017.  That summer, I married my high school sweetheart, Grant, and closed on our first home here in Brandon. In the fall of 2017 I began my first teaching position as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher at Brandon Elementary, where I taught for two years.  In 2019 I moved down the hall and began my journey as a Kindergarten teacher, and boy am I loving it!

My husband and I have a 4 year old

daughter, named Claire and a 1 year old daughter
named Paige. We also have an 8 year old Australian
Shepherd named Roo.  We enjoy taking them for walks,
going on bike rides, reading, and playing tennis.
